Navratri is a festival dedicated to the worship of the Hindu deity Durga. The word Navaratri literally means nine nights in Sanskrit. During these nine nights and ten days, nine forms of Shakti/Devi are worshiped. The festival is being held in Bangkok at the moment from 4-14 October 2013. This takes place at various Indian temples around Bangkok.  Although Little India is in the Pahurat area, to the west of Chinatown, the main Hindu temple is Sri Maha Marianman Temple (Wat Khaek) on Silom Road. It is here where the parade will take place on Monday 14th October 2013 from 7:30 p.m.

I have marked the parade route on the map above. It is best to come early as Silom Road inbound, Narithawat Road, Sathorn North Road and  Surasak Road will be closed. The best way to go would be by skytrain as BTS Chong Nonsi is on the parade route.
